Rain delayed the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Daytona 300 Race to Monday

Due to the rain, NASCAR officials have postponed the Xfinity Series season opener race at United Rentals 300 from Saturday to Monday at 11:00 AM ET. Originally, the race was slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday but was moved to 4:30 after Jesse Love claimed the pole in qualifying earlier in the day, but a continuous mist set in and refused to let up.

It is expected that rain will continue throughout the day on Sunday, but no adjustments to the schedule have been made, so the Daytona 500 will continue to start at 3:11 p.m. The NASCAR Xfinity Season Opening Race will be live broadcast on the FS1 channel on February 19, 2024.
