Due to heavy rainfall, the final race of NASCAR's regular season Coke Zero Sugar 400 was postponed from Saturday to Sunday at Daytona International Speedway.
The race starts at 7:00 pm. ET, but a thunderstorm delayed most of the preparations for the day. The rain quickly dissipated before the race start time but returned and is likely to continue through the evening.
The NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona will restart on Sunday 28 August 2022 at 10:00 A.M ET.This race will lead to creating conflict with Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix across the Atlantic Ocean which will start at 9:00 A.M ET.
Initially, the race was scheduled to be broadcast on the NBC channel on Saturday night, but it will move to the CNBC channel for the Sunday race. The PGA Tour's Tour Championship final round will be live broadcast on the NBC channel at the same time.
